
Christina Applegate, born November 25, 1971, is an American actress. As a child actor, she was recognized for her role in the role of Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate was a popular actress and producer in film and on television. Applegate won the Primetime Emmy Award, seven nominations, and nominated for four Golden Globe Awards as well as a Tony Award. Applegate starred on the role of the title character in the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000) which for which she was nominated to win an Golden Globe Award. She also won a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest appearance in the NBC sitcom Friends (2002-2003). She was nominated by the Tony Award for Best Actress In a Musical for her role in Sweet Charity (2005). Samantha Who? was her next ABC sitcom. She was a prominent character in the sitcom Samantha What? (2007-2009), where she received two Primetime Emmy Award nominees and an Golden Globe Award nomination; as well as the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2011).
