Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career as an actor in the theater. In the role of Mary The Life's first line-up, Young gave her Broadway premiere as Mary in 1997 on Broadway in 1997. She starred Off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we to Roll along (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). [3][10] In 1995, she made her TV debut on a recurring character in the NBC daytime soap opera Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest actor in two roles in 1997, and again in 1998. In 1999 she made her debut on film with a brief role in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. Beginning in 2000, she started appearing as an actor on number of television dramas and comedy programs, including The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 to 2011 Young appeared in more than 30 guest appearances in television programs. Young was one of the main actors on Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. After nine episodes of the show, it ended after a single season. The actress played the role of the role of Deputy Dist. in the Lifetime show For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC the period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004, as assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and on ABC Primetime soap series Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) as Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family.
