KatePrince William and Kate Middleton initially met while they were students from St. Andrews in 2001. Prince William was reportedly attracted by Kate Middleton's translucent gown during a fashion event. They began dating in the year 2003. Middleton, Prince William and two others St. Andrews students were roomsmates during the second year of St. Andrews. Kate Middleton started to be harassed by media outlets around the same time. It led to a number of individuals to take legal actions. In 2007 Kate and William separated because of reasons they did not know. There was speculation that they have reunited not too long after.
