Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream and a knack to write songs that are emotional with positive lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign the singer and began preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
