Kellie pickler

Kellie was considered to be one of the greatest "American Idols", even though she was not a finalist. Kellie Pickler was born the 28th of June, 1986 to Cynthia Morton Pickler and Clyde Raymond Pickler at Stanly Memorial Hospital Albemarle. When she became pregnant, her mother was aged 16. It was a difficult childhood for Pickler due to her father's struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol when her mother separated from her when she was only two. Morton returned to take charge for a few years, however Pickler admitted that it was not all well. "I was in the kitchen with my mother, when I said to her: 'I prefer to die rather than remain here.' The girl pulled out a kitchen knife and put it on the counter. After that, she told me: "Here you go." The fourth grade was when she learned this. It's too bad I didn't do something about it. But, it did leave a lasting emotional scar. Pickler was eventually given to her grandparents after she reached 12 years old. Morton failed to appear at the hearing. Pickler is adamant about her grandparents as one of her main influential figures throughout her life, was a child of the grandparents. Grandmother Faye Pickler died from lung cancer in January 2002. she was continued in the care of her grandfather. Pickler was a graduate of The North Stanly High school which is located in New London, North Carolina.
