Lis Wiehl is an American lawyer and writer who previously worked as an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. Previously she was Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She's been in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma at Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past for the US Attorney. She served as a legal correspondent for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the Chief Investigative Counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." From 1995 until 2001, she was a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
