Andrea Anders
Anders was raised within DeForest in Wisconsin and is now based in Los Angeles. She completed her studies at DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993 She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she graduated with an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They met on filming of Joey the sitcom that was cancelled. The director's brother is Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders started out in theater at the age of 2001. She played Elaine Robinson, the Broadway version of the film's Elaine Robinson. Also, she appeared in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress has also been seen in Two New York Stage & Film Productions, Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders debuted on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse production. Fat Pig, which closed it's doors on July 1, 2007, saw Anders play Jeannie a accountant. Anders was first discovered on TV in the commercial for Dannon, which aired around 2006, and then again in the 1990s. Anders was a character of Joey since the beginning, playing Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. Although she was in both shows, both were cancelled. Anders made guest appearances in One Life to Live as in Law & Order and Tru Calling. She appeared on HBO in three episodes in the role of Donna Degenhart as early as 2003. She then appeared in the role of Heather on The Stepford Wives in 2004 as well as Brandy in Sex Drive as Brandy as Brandy on Sex Drive in 2008. Anders made an appearance in Numb3rs (2008). Anders played in two television shows that failed. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders is a regular on the show. He was cast recently on Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single-camera comedy about a work environment written by Victor Fresco.
